What is
a volkswalk?
A volkswalk or volksmarch is a leisurely walk 5 or 10
kilometer (3.1 or 6.2 miles) through a scenic, historic or interesting
area, over a predetermined route. The walk is noncompetitive and the
participants can walk at their own pace, making it an excellent recreational
activity for the entire family. You
never know what beautiful sight awaits you when participating in an
American Volkssport Association (AVA) event.
- Everybody
is welcome to attend our club meetings. Come and check us out to find
out more about Volkswalking.
- The Clay-Platte Trackers meet bimonthly, on
the third Tuesday of odd months.
Our club meets at the Gashland Presbyterian Church
located at 8029 N. Oak Trafficway, Gladstone, MO. We meet at 7:00 PM. Please contact E-mail Club President for additional information. A complete meeting schedule can be
